Hebrews – In the Midst of the Assembly

In Hebrews 2:9, the writer tells us that “[he] who for a little while was made a little lower than the angels,” is Jesus. And it is he who was crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death.

We are told that it was fitting that Jesus, the founder of our salvation, in bringing many sons to glory, should be made perfect (perfected) through suffering. Since all things exists for him and he is the creator of all things. Vs 10

Everything exists for Jesus and his purpose. He is also the creator, he brought everything into being to fulfill his purpose. What is his purpose? To bring many sons to glory (ie to save the lost).

Hebrews 2:11, For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers,…

So, where does he “who sanctifies” bring many sons, “those who are sanctified,” to glory?

12 saying,…

"I will tell of your name to my brothers;
 in the midst of the congregation
    I will sing your praise."

13 And again,

"I will put my trust in him."

And again,

"Behold, Here am I and the children
   God has given me."

So he and the children are where?… In church.
